Its a training exercise, don’t be scared – Nigerian Army to Jigawa residents

The 26 Armoured Brigade Nigeria Army, Dutse, Jigawa State has notified communities around not to be scared of gunshots.

This is contained in a statement signed by Lieutenant Colonel Olusanya issued to Newspot.

According to the statement, ”this is to inform the general public of its plan to conduct shooting exercises from Tuesday the 19th of March to Thursday the 21st, respectively.

The Nigerian Army urged the neighbouring communities around Yargaba to restrict their movement close to the area and not be scared of the exercise.

The statement said the exercise is a training, advising civilians not to panic when gunshots are heard.
