How Brutalized Bodies of 14 Soldiers Were Discovered

The Joint Task Force, under the command of Major General Jamal Abdussalam of the 6th Division Nigerian Army, uncovered fourteen bodies of their comrades in Okuama community, Ughelli South Local Government Area of Delta State.

Channels TV reported that the soldiers were subjected to unspeakable brutality, with some found beheaded while others had their stomachs and hearts removed.

Adding to the tragedy, the bodies of the commanding officer and two majors were discovered floating near the NDDC jetty, further deepening the sense of loss.

In response to the act, the 6th Division Nigerian Army, headquartered in Port Harcourt, urgently moved to cordon off communities in Bomadi and Ughelli South.

The 63rd Brigade in Asaba, the capital of Delta State, is providing support in overseeing these security measures.

Chief of Defence Staff, Christopher Musa, has wasted no time in issuing orders for general investigation into the killing of the four senior officers and twelve soldiers.

The nation mourns the loss of these brave servicemen and demands urgent justice for those responsible for this senseless violence.
