Our client, an agricultural production and export company committed to delivering high-quality products to global markets currently has an opening for an Executive Assistant in Abuja. An ideal candidate for this role should be well-organized, and possess great planning and time management skills. Ultimately, he/she will contribute to the efficiency of the business by providing personalized and timely support to the CEO.

Job Responsibilities:

Act as the point of contact among executives, employees, clients, and other external partners

Manage information flow in a timely and accurate manner

Manage CEO’s calendars and set up meetings

Format information for internal and external communication – memos, emails, presentations, reports

Take minutes during meetings

Organize and maintain the office filing system

Answering phones and routing calls to the correct person or taking messages

Filing and retrieving corporate records, documents, and reports

Helping prepare for meetings

Greeting visitors and deciding if they should be able to meet with executives

Using various software, including word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and presentation software

Reading and analyzing incoming memos, submissions, and distributing them as needed

Experience as a virtual assistant

Opening, sorting, and distributing incoming faxes, emails, and other correspondence

Provide general administrative support

Requirements

Job Requirements:

Minimum of 3 years experience as an Executive Assistant or similar role supporting top-level executives.

First degree or its equivalent in a technical field (B.SC. degree in an agricultural field is a plus)

Experience in the agricultural industry is an added advantage.

Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.

Strong verbal and written communication abilities.

Expert level in Microsoft Office Suite especially Excel and other relevant software.

Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Proactive problem-solving and decision-making skills.

High level of professionalism and adaptability.
