A video shared online captures the emotional moment a youth corps member tearfully appreciated her sister for sponsoring her education on her wedding day.

The corps member, who waited for her sister’s wedding to express her deep gratitude, was captured reading out the sweet note she wrote to her sister in her hotel room before the wedding.

In the video, she stated that she is grateful for the sacrifices her sister made by financing her educational pursuit until university level.

She acknowledged that her sister opened a world of possibilities for her by sending her to school, as she broke into tears, overwhelmed by gratitude.

She added that she is proud to call her sister and prayed for her to have a blissful marriage with her husband-to-be.

To crown the moment, she gave her sister the signature military salute by raising her cap and placing it on her shoulder, before proceeding to hug her sister.

In other news, a Nigerian corps member was left enraged after she was served a tasteless meal in the National Youth Orientation camp.

The lady identified as @hifashion2019 on TikTok shared the meal she got for lunch at the orientation camp for the first time.

According to her, that was her first time going to the kitchen for food since she arrived camp and she was shocked with the food they served. The meal served was rice and stew with fish.

The corps member explained she was given salt in the kitchen to add to the rice because it was tasteless, the lady exclaimed after seeing the tiny fish on the rice. Showing in the video, the stew served with the rice was watery and oil; she described as pepper soup.

She also added that after eating the tasteless meal, she will still have to march for hours. Watch the video here
