Our client operates a large luxury five star Hotel in Abuja, Nigeria and they now require an experienced Executive Housekeeper to join the team. The Hotel has over 500 rooms and the Executive Housekeeper will oversee the overall Housekeeping facilities and must be very much hands on and used to coping with the demands of high volumes in a luxury five star environment.
Key requirements
- A minimum of 2 years prior work experience as Executive Housekeeper in a four or five star 200+ room Hotel/Resort – prior experience in Africa will be a big plus
- Excellent guest contact skills with a passion for customer service
- A relevant degree or diploma in Hospitality/Tourism management.
- Used to working with and managing multi-cultural teams with a willingness to develop team members
- Excellent on the job trainer
- Good business acumen and used to dealing with budgets and financial controls
- Fluency in English and a great communicator across all mediums
- Good organizational skills and used to dealing with challenging logistics
- Fluent computer skills ( MS Office)
- Excellent grooming standards
- Ability to work under pressure with flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations
- A solid track record displaying stability pre and post Covid
- A sound knowledge of international luxury housekeeping standards and practices
Package
- Salary up to US$3,750 net per month depending on experience
