A Ghanaian pastor, Bishop Sam Owusu, has expressed his disappointment with his fellow countrymen for massively attending the recent crusade led by popular Nigerian clergyman, Pastor Jerry Eze.
This comes after Pastor Jerry Eze, the founder of Streams of Joy International, organized a program at the Ghana International Trade Fair Centre, near Africa Lake in Accra, Ghana, on Saturday, February 24th. The program drew over 80,000 attendees.
Clearly displeased by this, Bishop Owusu criticized Ghanaians during his sermon for showing more support to foreigners than their own people.
He expressed surprise at the huge turnout and accused Ghanaians of undervaluing Ghanaian pastors.
He also asserted that Nigerians would never turn out in that number if a Ghanaian pastor were to hold a crusade in Nigeria.
The video has sparked mixed reactions on social media, with many expressing outrage at the Ghanaian pastor’s statement.
