NPFL: Enyimba down Shooting Stars, Heartland, Pillars share spoils

Chijioke Mbaoma scored the winning goal as Enyimba defeated Shooting Stars 1-0 in a Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, matchday 20 encounter on Saturday.

Mbaoma netted the decisive goal a minute before the break.

The striker was also on target in Enyimba’s 2-1 win against the same opponents in Ibadan in the last match of the first stanza.

In the other game of the day, Heartland held Kano Pillars to a 1-1 draw.
