Manchester City will host Manchester United at 3.30pm on Sunday 3 March in the Premier League, with the TV schedule confirmed.

Earlier on that Sunday Burnley take on Bournemouth at 1pm, before the huge clash at the Etihad.

The other televised fixtures over that weekend see Luton host Aston Villa at 5.30pm on Saturday 2 March and then Arsenal go to Sheffield United on Monday night.

The Sunday fixtures tend to be held at 2pm and 4.30pm but have taken on the unusual times at the start of March.

The Manchester derby at Old Trafford earlier in the season was the only other 3.30pm kick-off of the campaign.

The game finished 3-0 to Pep Guardiola’s side, with Erling Haaland scoring twice before Phil Foden completed the scoring.

However, it has not been long since the Red Devils got the better of their local rivals, earning a 2-1 win at Old Trafford in January last year, while they last won at the Etihad in March 2021.

Both Manchester clubs are in action in the FA Cup this weekend, with City going to Tottenham on Friday night before United head to Newport County on Sunday afternoon.

Erik ten Hag confirmed that goalkeeper Altay Bayindir will make his debut for the Red Devils in the trip to the League Two side.

‘He will be in the goal,’ said the Dutchman of the summer signing from Fenerbahce.

‘What we can expect for him, he waits for his chance but he is experienced, played in a big club in Turk under big pressure, he knows how to deal with it, we were convinced… so we are looking forward to Sunday. Altay is waiting for this moment and this is his moment.’
