Akoza alleged that the clash occurred due to the deplorable state of the road.

Newspot gathered that the incident took place on Monday, January 8, along the Abuja-Keffi expressway around Gora in the Karu Local Government Area of Nasarawa State.

According to Akoza, his Toyota Corolla was not only damaged but also subjected to further harm by security operatives attached to the Governor’s convoy.

“I’m still on treatment,” he added.

A police officer from the Uke station explained that the driver was brought in by security operatives attached to the Governor’s convoy for “obstructing traffic and causing an accident.”

The officer explained that the driver was detained at the counter but released on bail the following day, stating that the car particulars were seized due to the absence of a surety for his bail.

Emmanuel Innocent Akwe, a media aide to Governor Sule, while reacting to the incident, confirmed the event but maintained that the driver was at fault.

Akwe, however, declined to provide further details on the matter.
