Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino has spoken about his decision to allow Ian Maatsen to leave the club on loan this January.
Maatsen will play at Borussia Dortmund until the end of this season.
Pochettino, speaking to reporters on Friday, said it was a good decision for the Blues.
He said: “It’s good for the club; it is good for Maatsen. I hope he can play more than here. For all sides involved, it is a good decision.”
