Our Client is a technology solution company with a growth mindset that provides leading-edge technology solutions and services to organizations, seeks a Business Development Manager to drive sales, lead the team and expand their customer base.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Market Analysis and Strategy:

  • Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients, industry trends, and competitor activities.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to penetrate and expand the software solutions market in Nigeria.

2. Sales and Client Acquisition:

  • Lead the end-to-end sales process from prospecting to closing deals with a focus on software solution sales.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs, and presenting tailored software solutions accordingly.
  • Actively seek new business opportunities and partnerships to drive sales growth.

3. Product Knowledge and Presentation:

  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of our software solutions and effectively communicate their value propositions to potential clients.
  • Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and workshops to showcase the capabilities and benefits of our software offerings.

4. Collaboration and Coordination:

  • Collaborate closely with the marketing team to develop compelling sales materials, campaigns, and strategies aligned with market demands.
  • Coordinate with the technical team to ensure seamless implementation and client satisfaction post-sales.

5. Reporting and Analysis:

  • Prepare regular reports on sales activities, pipeline status, and market insights for management review.
  • Analyze sales performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and optimization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Masters degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
  • Proven track record in software sales, with at least 7 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in the technology/software industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of the Nigerian software solutions market and its key players.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to develop and execute sales strategies effectively.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented mindset.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office Suite.
