Job description: A large luxury 5* Hotel in Nigeria with over 320 rooms, is currently looking for a dynamic, experienced and dynamic executive chef, with the following MANDATORY experience:-
- Formal qualifications – City and Guilds or equivalent
- HACCP trained and qualified
- Must currently be holding an Executive Chef position in a large 4 or 5* property with over 250 rooms plus multi F&B outlets and large banqueting operations for upto 800 guests.
- Extensive prior multi F&B outlet experience and must be used to large volume operations – this is a pre-requisite
- Prior African experience is preferred with Sub Saharan Africa exposure a big plus
- Accustomed to working in hardship or remote locations
- Outstanding logistic skills
- Financially astute, comfortable dealing with budgets and cost control
- Creative culinary all rounder with good banqueting skills
- Aged between 40 and 50
