Popular Afrobeat singer, Seun Kuti, has confronted one Solomon Idowu, who allegedly threatened to kill him.

Seun was captured in a now trending clip on the internet engaging in a heated altercation with Idowu at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos, on Friday.

The singer hindered the man from presenting his passport for boarding an aircraft to the US.

Idowu was heard saying, “Dude, I’m not from here, I am American. You just put your hands on me. You’re gonna find out because this is not going to end well for you. Don’t make me make phone calls. I am going home.”

In response, Seun insisted that Idowu was not going back until they settled their case in Nigeria.

“Dude, nobody is taking your passport. You are not going anywhere. You have a case to answer in this country.”

Idowu was accused of threatening to kill Seun Kuti if the musician travels to Chicago.

However, in a follow up video after the confrontation, Idowu affirmed that no harm would befall Seun if he travelled to Chicago.

“Because of miscommunication and I threatened his life. If anything happens to Seun in Chicago, I will be responsible,” he said.
