Our client is an energy service provider that offers engineering design and construction services, power and renewable energy, oilfield supplies, environmental and laboratory services, and power and energy services in Nigeria with an office in Victoria Island.

The Company is seeking to hire an innovative and result-oriented Business Development Manager who will be responsible for performing in-depth market analysis and research, developing and implementing business strategies, and developing marketing and business plans for the achievement of revenue goals and growth for the organization.

The ideal candidate for this role must have a proven track record of delivering on revenue targets or goals in the Engineering or Oil and gas servicing industry and will also be a contributor to the company’s growth and revenue generation.

  • Engage in active market research to identify new business opportunities for the Company.
  • Fully participate in industry-related conferences and client forums as a company representative.
  • Prepare and execute relevant presentations to new and existing clients.
  • Prepare and issue minutes of business development meetings with new and existing clients.
  • Develop and maintain up-to-date and comprehensive knowledge about business practices and industry trends.
  • Maintain an all-inclusive client database system to serve as a guide for follow-up and other relationship management activities for existing and new clients.
  • Engage in the development of quarterly or annual marketing budget development and tracking budget-related expenses.
  • Coordinate with related functions within the company to ensure timeliness and accuracy in dealing with a client’s (potential or existing) related transactions.
  • Develop and recommend innovative strategies for client retention.
  • Ensure compilation and timely delivery of progress reports to the management team as appropriate.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or any other relevant field of study.
  • Minimum of 7 years in Business Development activities related to our service offering
  • Excellent negotiation, risk management, and business development skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to build and maintain client relationships, and exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated and driven by target
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data and trends.
  • Commercial awareness and ability to influence others

Benefits

Compensation: Base pay ranges BTW N400, 000.00 – N500,000.00 monthly + other interesting benefits
