Manchester United legend Paul Scholes has criticised the Red Devils players after their Premier League narrow 1-0 win over Luton Town on Saturday.
Scholes said Erik ten Hag’s men did not put in a great performance against Luton at Old Trafford.
Recall that Victor Lindelof’s 59th-minute goal earned Manchester United all three points against the visitors.
Man United enjoyed 65 per cent of the ball possession and managed 15 shots, five more than Luton and four attempts on target during the encounter.
“They got the job done. It was not a great performance, as we have seen, probably didn’t create as much as you would have liked,”
Scholes told Premier League Productions.
“Luton made it very difficult for them throughout the game, but it is job done.
“They have won the game and hopefully now, [they have] a nice little break for a couple of weeks and come back and find a bit of form.”
