Nigerian afrobeats musician and songwriter, Michael Adebayo Olayinka popularly known as Ruger recalled during an interview with Naija fm the moment a lady grabbed him by his private part during a show.
The ‘Asiwaju’ crooner who was sexually assaulted while performing on stage in March 27 2022, had shared with his interviewer how he felt that day.
According to him, it really hurt him so bad and he was almost close to crying. Emphasising on the fact that she did not only touch it but grabbed it.
He mentioned that “She no touch ham o, that girl press ham the thing pain me, outside the country we dey serenade ourselves but this girl she grab ham, e be like say she come from Sango Ota.”
When asked if he ever received an apology from the lady, Ruger said he did not receive any apology and further went on to describe Nigerian ladies as aggressive.
The interviewer also mentioned that Nigerians blamed him on the issue, because they believed that it was the kind of songs he was always singing that prompted the lady to do what she did, Ruger then mentioned that he does not care, neither does he owe any body an explanation.
“I don’t like explaining myself to people, I dey allow Nigerians talk wetin them wan talk” He added.
