1.) Finance Officer – Receivables
Job Location: Lagos
Job type: Contract
Department: Finance
Responsibilities
- The Finance Officer will be responsible for proper file management, easy tracing of voucher as well as ensure compliance with all accounting standards, policies, procedures, legal/statutory and Company regulation.
Other job responsibilities include:
- Preparation and recording of accounting entries in the general ledger system
- Ensure the integrity of the general ledger postings
- Liaise with the bank for all assigned company transactions
- Confirm authorisation for all requests and obtain necessary supporting documents
- Identify and update supervisor on significant problems, discrepancies, risks etc.
- Receipt and collation of invoices for payment
- Review all new customer contracts and SOFs with supervisor, and ensure billing is done accurately
- Generate and ensure timely dispatch of customer invoices
- Posting of all customer payments timely and accurately
- Accurately generate credit notes to customers based on SLA when there are downtimes
- Other duties consistent with the role as assigned from time to time
Qualifications, Skills & Competencies
- Candidates should possess a First Degree in Finance / Accounting
- Minimum of 6 years of working experience required
- ICAN/ACCA Certification is required for this role
Competencies:
- Proficiency in MS Office Applications
- Working knowledge of ERP Solutions
- Skilled in basic typing and data entry
- Efficient use of accounting templates

2.) Digital Marketing Associate
Job Location: Lagos

Responsibilities
- The Digital Marketing Associate will support the MainOne marketing function to manage and improve the company’s presence and customer communications via online channels.
- In particular, the Digital Marketing Associate will be focused on Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) for the Company and will work with the digital marketing team to implement new and innovative strategies in order to meet and exceed the company’s overall revenue and profit targets.
The specific responsibilities shall include the following:
Website Optimization:
- Implementation of basic SEO strategies including keyword research, link acquisition, and on-site optimization.
- Familiarity with digital marketing optimization tools such as Google Search Console, Keyword Planner, HubSpot.
- Monitor daily performance metrics to understand SEO strategy performance.
Social Media Community Management:
- Daily management of social media platforms using tools like Tweetdeck, Buffer, Hootsuite etc.
- Become an advocate for the Company across social media platforms, engage in relevant dialogues and answering questions where appropriate.
- Suggest and implement new concepts and strategies to improve brand awareness via social media.
- Design graphics for social media using tools like Canva.
- Conversion of blog posts and press releases into short video content for social media use.
- Execute social media campaigns, Ads/Sponsored posts as required.
- Stay up to date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools and applications.
Content Generation and Distribution:
- Work with the communications team in the ideation and generation of content for online communications for MainOne and its subsidiaries across digital media platforms.
- Drive awareness of new blog posts by publishing the articles in technology and data centre forums and groups
Analytics:
- Familiarity with digital marketing analytics tools such as Google Analytics.
- Use tools like Meltwater, Tweetdeck, Hootsuite, Mention, IO Analytics to monitor trends on social media tools, opportunities in user-generated content surrounding the business and report notable threats to supervisor.
Qualifications, Skills & Competencies
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications or other relevant field.
- Minimum years of Experience: 1
- Proven experience using SEO tools.
- Familiarity with basic graphics and video editing software.
Competencies Required:
- Knowledge of digital marketing strategies and best practices.
- Proven ability to curate content, copy writing and community management.
- Experience managing multiple social media accounts.

3.) NOC Support Engineer
Job Location: Lagos

Responsibilities
- The NOC Support Engineer will be responsible for proactive monitoring of Transmission and IP devices across MainOne’s network through the support of Network monitoring systems, perform first line troubleshooting/fault isolation, resolve where necessary, and escalate to other levels for support in line with MainOne’s internal processes.
Other responsibilities:
- Maintain and ensure full compliance with all Main One’s NOC processes and procedures
- Ensure proper technical documentation of all network events throughout normal/shift cycles or operations
- Monitor MainOne’s network providing update, status and performance of all network components, capacity services etc.
- Identify and provide first-line support on all faults on the MainOne network in accordance with the Company’s standard operating procedure for fault escalation and management
- Answer all network support related telephone calls and interface with internal/external customers on operational issues and related network events, using MainOne’s standard operating procedures
- Run daily and weekly management reports on network events and activities as well as tracking escalations and other key performance indicators and ensure all customer SLAs are met
Qualifications, Skills & Competencies
- B.Sc / HND in Electrical / Electronic Engineering or related discipline
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the configuration, operations and maintenance of optical fiber SDH and wireless network equipment
Skills & Competencies:
- Knowledge of IP devices will be a plus
- Knowledge of Ubiquiti or Ceragon radio
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong Knowledge of DWDM/OTN technology
- Excellent and effective communications skills, both orally and in writing
- Ability to use OTDR, E-Analyzer, SDH Analyzer, power meter and other signal testing tools/instruments
- Working Knowledge of Huawei OSN series equipment.
- Working knowledge of Ubiquiti or Ceragon radio.
- Good Knowledge of Huawei OSN series equipment
- Strong knowledge of PtP/PtMP Microwave technologies
- Knowledge of basic TCP/IP configurations and troubleshooting
- Strong Knowledge of Synchronous Digital Hierarchy technology
- Working knowledge of IP devices will be a plus.
- Ability to speak French is an added advantage

4.) Credit Control Analyst

Responsibilities
- The Credit Control Analyst will be responsible for accurate accounting for all WHT deductions made by customers and follow up on outstanding WHT Receipts from customers & FIRS.
Other responsibilities shall include the following:
Specific responsibilities will include:
- Reconciliation of WHT Receivable Ledger per customer
- Extract WHT receipts from the FIRS portal and update WHT schedule per customer
- Generate age analysis report for WHT Receivable
- Monthly reporting on status of WHT Receivables and WHT receipts collected
- Liaise with consultant to resolve issues on remittances yet to reflect on the FIRS portal
- Follow-up with Customers on WHT deductions yet to be remitted
- Daily updating of WHT Receivables report from the cash inflow report
- Develop strategies for the reduction of the WHT Receivable balance in the General Ledger
Qualifications, Skills & Competencies
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance / Accounting
- 5 – 7 years of relevant experience

5.) TX L2 Technical Support Engineer
Job Location: Lagos

Responsibilities
The L2 Technical Support Engineer will be responsible for carrying out investigation for the day to day L2 escalations across IP & TX domains with the expectation of meting & exceeding approved OLAs/SLAs in all operating regions (Nigeria, CIV, Ghana, Europe etc.) of the Main One network. Other responsibilities include:
- Proactively identifying potential issues that could lead to network and/or service breakdown. This is most especially on the IP platforms in view of the surge in IP issues noticed in recent times.
- Level two (L2) technical support interface for all L2 technical issues from the GNOC team and others, as the case maybe.
- Drive visibility and effectively manage repeat network/service and CX issues, across board and in a timely manner.
- Lead manage of specific customer & network facing planned maintenances
- From time to time advise the business on network & customer solution inherent risks and mitigation plan to address and prevent them from becoming issues for the network and customers.
- Escalations Prioritization, in terms of handling, in accordance with the approved OLAs for service segmentation e.g. High Capacity, High Profiled, Prime, Platinum, Gold, Silver and Mercury.
- Drive and Manage upward technical interactions (L3 Support, Network Planning & OEMs) in a timely manner and in ways that ensure that network and customers interests are protected
- Low level planning (i.e. upgrade, downgrade, service performance improvement etc.) of network and services in operations with the aim of improving performance and reducing Operation, Administration & Maintenance (OAM) cost.
