Juventus want to sign Manchester United outcast Jadon Sancho on loan in January before a £60m permanent move next summer, according to reports.

The 23-year-old’s career at Old Trafford looks over after Sancho was involved in a nasty fall-out with manager Erik ten Hag, with the Dutchman publicly slamming his player in the media for his poor application in training.

Sancho issued a public statement in response and claimed he had been made a ‘scapegoat’ by Ten Hag – and the situation does not seem to be reaching any kind of resolution – with Sancho banned from all of United’s first-team facilities.

The Englishman has been urged to apologise to Ten Hag by his United team-mates but he is unwilling to do so and it seems that he destined to depart in the January transfer window.

He has been linked with a return to his former club Borussia Dortmund, although the German side are believed to have some concerns over his discipline – and despite reports that the winger has been in ‘regular contract’ with the Bundesliga club’s manager – The Sun report that Sancho does not want to return to them.

They claim that Sancho would be more keen on joining a club in Serie A and that Italian giants Juventus want to bring in Sancho on loan in January before potentially turning it into a £60m permanent move in the next summer window.

It is thought that Juventus want United to pay half of Sancho’s wages if they are to take him on loan.

Meanwhile, La Liga side Barcelona have also been linked with a January loan for Sancho.

Sancho has registered 12 goals and six assists across 82 games for United since he joined them from Dortmund in 2021.

He has featured three times for United this season, all from the bench, but has not been named in a matchday squad since August’s 3-2 win over Nottingham Forest.
