Manchester United remain on the market, but despite bids from Qatari Sheikh Jassim and British billionaire Jim Ratcliffe, the Glazer family are yet to accept an offer.
Whether or not the Glazers will actually sell the club any time soon is yet to be seen, but it sounds like Beckham would like to see Manchester United change hands.
The former England captain wants a change at the top to get the Red Devils back to the summit of the game after years of struggling to compete with the current best in England and Europe.
‘We are one of the, if not the biggest club in the world. We want stability,’ he told Sky Sports. ‘I think that’s the most important thing.
‘We all have our favourites of who we feel needs to run the club and look after the club to take it back to where it belongs.
‘In our eyes, in the fans eyes, we are number one. We want to be back at the top and I believe I know the right people to do that so we’ll see!’
Manchester United picked up a win over Brentford on Saturday as they scored twice in stoppage to time to come from behind and beat the Bees 2-1 at Old Trafford.
That took some pressure off manager Erik ten Hag and Beckham wants to see the Dutchman given time to make his mark on the club.
‘He’s a good coach,’ Beckham said. ‘It is a difficult time at the moment but there’s a lot of noise around the club at the moment. It can’t be easy for him.
‘We all want that noise to go away. We all want a decision to be made for the club, for the fans, for the players and for the managers.’
