Big Brother Naija “All Stars” winner, Ilebaye Odiniya, has dismissed the notion that she was voted as the show’s winner out of pity.
Recall that the 22-year-old reality TV star emerged winner of the competition and clinched the N120 million grand prize on Sunday, October 1.
However, there has been speculation that she only emerged as the winner because people pitied and perceived her as weak and fragile because she was the youngest housemate in the house.
Some argued that she gained popularity after facing bullying and criticism from her senior housemates due to her age.
Addressing these speculations during a recent interview on Lagos Talks, she confidently refuted the idea that her victory was a result of sympathy or because she was considered the underdog.
The self proclaimed “Gen Z baddie” confidently added that the majority of viewers voted for her because it was her time.

A while back, Ilebaye shared in an interview with the show’s host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu what she plans to do with the 120million prize money.
