Republican Party is in aa far worse shape and chaos today than the Founding Fathers have ever envisaged for the two major political parties of America.
I went to school in America. I have lived here continuously for more than 40 years.
I have visited no less than 38 states out of 50. I have lived for many years in 5 major cities namely New York City, Hartford and Storrs Connecticut, Atlanta Georgia, Dallas, Texas and Washington DC but New York has been my home for no less than 25 years.
So I feel eminently qualified to write and talk about America.
When the Founding fathers crafted one of the greatest Constitutions in the World, they were expecting leaders in Congress in both parties to rise above self aggrandizement to fully understand the full meaning, intent and ramifications of Democracy and the discipline and the state of mind needed to make it work as the polar opposite of Dictatorship, or Communism or Fascism all of which thrive on a one-man- one- vote rule.
What is happening to the Republican Party and Donald Trump today is totally predictable and that was why I told you so ahead of time in all of my previous articles on the subject that nobody could have expected that one crazy man could have done so much havoc to a country as rock-solid as America all within 4 years of the Locusts in the greatest Citadel of Power in the World.

I am not a Pastor Tunde Bakare or Woli Marcus Tibetan of Nigeria.
I am not any of the Nigerian Pastors who speak in tongues and who claim to have a hot line to “Ijinle ninu Ijinle, Kabiyesi Eledumare” but I know enough to make the point I am making here in this write-up and I would not lie to you.
Democracy is all about negotiation, flexibility and people working together to find a common ground and to make a difference.
Republicans are now in a total quagmire that is most likely to get worse before it gets better.
But that is never going to happen for as long as Donald Trump still dominates one of the two political pillars of America.
The guy has got to go or be permanently retired from partisan Politics.
American Presidential System is designed in a way that no one Party however dominant or powerful can forever remain in power.
Parties come and go depending on the whim and caprices of the voters who know what is best for them in a country governed by the Rule of Law and where a candidate wins or loses based on One-man- one-one vote which is the foundation pillar of Democracy.
American founding fathers began to go wrong when they added the Electoral College Provision which sets the popular vote aside to impose the votes of 570 handpicked Electors of the Electoral College as the final authority to chose who is to be President of the United States.
How for goodness sake can the decision of 570 people be made to supersede the verdict of 137 million people who voted in 2016.
I still cannot find any rational explanation for that in this time and age in a Democracy. The Electoral College has outlived its usefulness and should be expunged from the Constitution.
It is a complete outrage and intrusion that must be expunged from the Constitution altogether.
A charlatan and an outlaw like Donald Trump would never have been President but for the absurdity of the obnoxious Electoral College Abracadabra.
The man had lost that election by 3 million votes more than the whole population of Montana and Vermont the two smallest States in America which are also represented by 2 Senators in the US Senate just like California with 29 million or New York or Florida or Illinois 4 of the biggest states in America by population or by land mass.
I have no problem with 2 senators for each state but I have serious problems with the Electoral College Contraption. It makes no sense to me in a Democracy!!!!
The American System gives room for the two parties to rotate power on the presumption that no human organization or Establishment should be allowed to assume perfection and that human behavior in the social Environment has its own inherent flaws that are likely to manifest in both Parties as time goes by. The Founding Fathers have shown their recognition and sensitivity to the possible flaws that may need to be corrected by future generations by leaving room for Amendments to be added as needed. So we cannot blame them.
That is why the GOP was able to produce great Presidents like Abraham Lincoln (1861-1865) Dwight Ike Eisenhower (1953-1961)and Ronald Reagan (1981-1989)and outlaws like Richard Nixon (1969-1974)who resigned to escape going to jail and Donald Trump (2016-2020)who has been twice- impeached and 4 or 5 times criminally indicted and would be the first American President to end up in jail.
By the same token, the Democrats could also boast of great Presidents like Thomas Jefferson (1801-1809) FDR (1933-1945), JFK (1961-1963) Bill Clinton (1993-2001) and Barrack Hussein Obama (2008- 2016)
Rotating Power is built into the System from the “get go” and that is one reason Democracy is arguably superior to Communism as a system of Government because it believes in competition and group thinking and consensus and not in a one central control system which is what often lead to Dictatorship like happened in Germany under Adolf Hitler and like happened in Russia under Vladimir Putin and like happened in China under President Xi and in North Korea under President Kim Jung Un and like happened in Uganda under President Idi Amin Dada,the Conqueror of the British Empire or in Zaire under President Mobutu Sese Seko Kuku Ngbendu Waza Banga.
Donald Trump the putative leader of the Republicans today aspires to become one of the leaders listed above as his ultimate goal is to change America from a Democracy to a Dictatorship where he is going to be leader for life and where he could predictably handover power to his daughter Ivanka or to one of his sons pretty much like Kim Jung Un of North Korea is planning to do.
Congressman Matt Gaetz of Florida following the lead of Donald Trump had wanted a Speaker that must never seek a common ground with the Democrats to move the country forward.
He and his gangsters in Congress have criminalized Bi-Partisanship as the wrong way to go.
That explains why Kevin McCarthy has become the shortest-reigning Speaker in the history of the United States.
That is why Republicans are going no where but down.
Donald Trump is on a fast lane going to jail as we speak.
He is going to plea- bargain, agree to drop out of the race and save his Ass from spending the rest of his life in jail.
That is one option still open to him as Americans would not want him to stain American image and reputation by letting him die in jail.
It is a proposition or clemency that most Americans would grudgingly agree to myself included.
