Former Big Brother Naija ‘All Stars’ housemate, Angel Smith, has sparked discussions on social media after she chose her romantic interest in the house, Soma, over her real boyfriend.
The 23-year-old star was evicted alongside Soma and Venita during the Sunday live eviction show on September 24.
It’s worth noting that she developed a special bond with Soma, who was a housemate in the “See Gobe” season in 2017 before reappearing in the “All Stars” edition.
What makes this more intriguing is that they both had partners outside the house before deciding to pursue a romantic relationship inside the house.
So, after her eviction, the show’s host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, questioned her about her choice between the two men in her life. This followed his earlier question to Soma, who had chosen Angel without any hesitation.
In response, Angel excitedly chose Soma, thus ditching the relationship she had outside the house.
“You got a little emotional when Soma was evicted. I remember, I just asked him [Soma] who he would pick. Are you picking him as well over your other situation [relationship]?” Ebuka asked.
Angel replied, “Of course, I’m going to see my baby right now.”
Ebuka asked, “Which of them?”
In response, Angel said, “Soma!”
