Porto head coach, Sergio Conceicao, has confirmed Super Eagles defender, Zaidu Sanusi will be sidelined for the next few weeks.
Sanusi sustained a muscular injury in Porto’s UEFA Champions League clash against Shakhtar Donestk on Tuesday night.
The 26-year-old was subbed off after the break.
The left-back missed training on Thursday and Conceicao has now confirmed that the Nigerian is now set for a spell on the sidelines.
” Zaidu(Sanusi) is out and will be out for the next few weeks,” Conceicao said per Sapo.
“It’s a muscle injury. Unfortunately, we have had some problems, like Marcano and Evanilson. We have solutions, and the injury doesn’t change the strategy or the plan.”
Sanusi has made three appearances across all competitions for the Dragons this season.
