The Abuja Electricity Distribution Company(AEDC) has announced Christopher Ezeafulukwe as its new Managing Director (MD)/Chief Executive Officer in an effort to revamp Nigeria’s power sector.
Donald Etim, the AEDC’s Chief Marketing Officer, disclosed this in a statement on Saturday.
He said Ezeafulukwe resumed office on Friday to boost the nation’s capital electricity supply.
The restructuring in AEDC is coming amid the recent acquisition of a 60 percent stake by Transcorp-led investors while Nigeria’s government holds 40 percent.
