Governor Umar Namadi has approved the payment of registration fees in respect of the Jigawa State undergraduate students studying different courses at Federal University, Dutse FUD, Bayero University, Kano (BUK), Kano State University of Technology (KUST) and University of Maiduguri.
The sum of One Hundred and Sixty-Seven Million Twenty-Four Thousand Nine Hundred and Fifty Naira (N167,024,950.00) only. The Council’s decision is in line with the present administration policy to help parents with low income cope with the increase in registration fees for their children.
Similarly, the Council has approved the review of
bursary scholarship for the Jigawa State Indigenes with immediate effect and the timing of the bursary payment should be at the beginning of every session when sessions commence.
