The team you would join:

The Programs team , works alongside the other units in the business to reshape critical business processes across the West & Central Africa business and drive the digital adoption in the organization. They are involved in project/pilot management, business process management and continuous improvement, while providing insights and data-driven recommendations to the operations.

About the role:

The person will work closely with different stakeholders in the business to ensure seamless execution of processes in the field and any technical issues both on the hardware and software side of the field activities. They will also ensure a proper management of the logistics surrounding the Easy Buy business in the Country. This person will be travelling to the field occasionally (~50% of the time)

What you would be expected to do:

1. Domain knowledge – Project Management

  • Develop & Assess the project plan.
  • Monitor and Evaluate projects.

2. Proficient in the use of Project Management tools, such as;

  • Trello, JIRA, ProofHub (or any other)

3. Agent Payment and Payroll Management:

  • Coordinate and ensure timely and accurate incentive payments for the Agents.
  • Work with finance and other stakeholders to process payroll in compliance with company policies and regulations.
  • Maintain records of payments and address any discrepancies or issues.

4. New Area boundary (coordinate) setup & monitoring:

  • Work closely with the GA Team to facilitate the setup of Area Business Manager (ABM) and Field Service Executive (FSE) boundaries.
  • Monitor base location operations to ensure smooth functioning and resolve any operational issues.
  • Define Agents split based on Area boundaries.

5. Support Premium Products Launch:

  • Work with cross-functional teams to assist in the successful launch of premium products across different countries.
  • Contribute to planning, execution, and monitoring of product launches, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Work closely with the Product Team to ensure effective roll out of new products.
  • He/She will be tasked in ensuring all tests for the new products release both hardware and software functionalities.
  • Conducting field pilots for the new products/services in the field after testing.
  • Work closely with the surveys team to gather VOC on new products.

6. Analytics & Reporting

  • Work closely with the relevant team to make sure accurate dataflow and reporting across all systems.
  • Keep updated records and create reports, presentation, data visualizations, dashboards using; Google Charts, Tableau or Microsoft Power BI (or any other)

7. Project & Process documentation:

  • Develop a project & process repository to serve as a one-stop shop for all departmental process.
  • Develop documentation for various solution development projects.

8. Field visits

  • Embark on field visits when necessary.
  • Gets feedback from Agents/ABMs/RBMs on issues faced in the field.
  • Reports feedback and ensures follow ups are acted upon.

You might be a strong candidate if you:

  • Have bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent
  • Have at least 2 year of ICT experience, with a proven track record of maintaining and troubleshooting different systems and tools
  • Have knowledge or experience with SMS gateways and other operational tools including Google Sheets,
  • Are able to use Looker and Google Apps Script would be an added advantage.
  • Project Management Professional, CSM, Certification or its equivalent will be an added advantage
  • Excellent people skills and ability to work with stakeholders with different working styles, priorities and communication styles.
  • Demonstrate excellent time management skills.
  • Ability to evaluate prioritisation of tasks and project on the go and work on high impact-low effort items first.
  • Problem solving ability and fix what’s broken mindset
  • Have excellent attention to details, you know that the difference between an “Ok” and “Exceptional” job lies in how much you can spot and work on the important minute details of your tasks.
  • Have excellent issue-tracking and resolution skills over long periods of time.
  • Are able to handle multiple tasks at the same time without errors and mistakes.
