Our client: A well-established regional FMCG company with ambitious growth plans and offers a rewarding career is looking to hire General Manager Sales for Nigeria.

Your Role: Reporting directly to the Country CEO, this position holds accountability for devising and executing sales strategies, overseeing the execution of the yearly sales operational plan, managing both short and long-term product development initiatives, and fostering a well-equipped and motivated sales team to meet and surpass established objectives. The role also entails formulating route-to-market strategies and necessitates a comprehensive grasp of Traditional trade as well as alternative distribution channels. Furthermore, this position entails formulating yearly sales plans encompassing sales volume projections, while concentrating on devising approaches to realize these yearly sales benchmarks. The incumbent will additionally assume the duty of formulating annual business and brand plans, inclusive of financial allocations, to ensure the attainment and surpassing of commercial objectives. Furthermore, the role involves spearheading the uniformity and implementation of fundamental sales procedures and tools.

Must Haves: The incredible candidate will be a result-oriented individual, who will be an effective leader and professional representative of the firm. You would be energetic, confident, strategic, analytical, creative, flexible, hands-on, problem solver, and team player, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and changing environment. 15 years of Sales experience, of which at least 5 years have been at a senior sales management level, within the FMCG Industry and preferably within the beverage space. Solid background in Traditional Trade is essential.
