Yobe Assembly screens, confirms 20 commissioner nominees

Yobe State House of Assembly, on Friday confirmed the appointment of all the twenty nominees sent to the House as members of the State Executive Council.

The House confirmed the appointment of the nominees after it conducted a three-day screening exercise.

The Deputy Speaker, Hon Ya’u Usman Dachia said the House confirmed the appointment of the nominees as commissioners based on their track records of excellence.

He commended the State Governor, Mai Mala Buni for appointing well deserved individuals as members of the State Executive Council.

He called on the confirmed nominees to work hard to justify the confidence reposed in them by the State government.
