He also strongly condemned the recent attacks in some villages in Mangu Local Government Area where more lives were lost.

The Governor equally appealed to security agencies to redouble their efforts and put an end to the senseless killings of innocent people in the rural communities of Mangu and Barkin-Ladi LGAs.

While appealing for calm, the Governor urged citizens to take advantage of the security and information centre activated by the state government to receive intelligence for prompt intervention.

Newspot gathered that 21 people were brutally murdered by yet-to-be-identified gunmen in the communities at about 1am Thursday morning; also a few days ago, 5 residents of Ncha community in Mangu LGA were killed by unknown gunmen.
