Job description: Our client, a solutions based asset finance company based in Sandton is looking to hire a Business Development Manager. They provide turnkey solutions to finance and manage a spectrum of standard and specialised equipment that assist in running businesses effectively.
The Business Development Manager will find quality leads and convert them into successful product, service or solutions deals. To achieve consistent growth in the customer base and sales figures by achieving sales/revenue target so that business growth is achieved and ultimately success of the company and the achievement of its strategic objectives.
Business Development Managers manage their Territory like a marketplace, which indeed it is, constantly finding and closing new deals, becoming more entrenched and dominant in their territory, maximizing their penetration.
Build long-term client relationships and cultivate service opportunities by leveraging the portfolio to deliver breakthrough results to clients within their industries.
Requirements:
- You will need a degree in either business management or financial management for this position
- At least 5 years of sales experience (ideally from Office Automation) in dealing with corporates and c-suite clientele
- A proven track record in selling IT solutions in the relevant industries and an understanding of yellow metal financing
