Job description: Our client, a four star hotel, is looking for a Private House Manager. You will have overall responsibility for ensuring that every area of the entire VILLA is clean.

KEY OUTPUTS:

• You will have overall responsibility for the efficient running of the entire Housekeeping related duties of the VILLA.
• You will take full responsibility for the effective management of ALL domestic personnel at the VILLA.
• The management of domestic staff by you would be by providing CLEAR DIRECTION and GUIDELINES to support their daily operations while you will demonstrate the hands-on principle in achieving service excellence.
• You will undertake and supervise laundry activities by ensuring linens and all other wares and clothing are in good condition and neatly returned to respective closets.
• Proper monitoring of the deep cleaning of Bedrooms, Living Areas, Toilets and Bathrooms on daily basis.
• You will make sure that ALL facilities in the VILLA are always functioning effectively. This you would achieve by daily checks and applying proactive measures in fixing any facility that requires technical attention.
• Regular checks on ALL electrical appliances like bulbs and other equipment in and outside of the VILLA. Arrange for the replacement and repair of such items immediately.
• Daily supervision Staff chalets, security and drivers lounge for regular cleaning and general maintenance.
• You will be required to maintain a very active communication in bringing up issues for immediate rectifying action.
• You shall be responsible for overseeing and improving the cleaning implementation of the Housekeeping TEAM. The aim here is to put the VILLA in perfect sparkling clean condition and so a lot of grooming will be required to be done by you to ensure that every part of the VILLA is in excellent condition.
• You shall be required to bring into bear your expertise in housekeeping activities to make the VILLA into a Haven.
• You will be expected to develop and implement procedures and control systems to ensure good hygiene and quality standards at all times for the VILLA.
• You will ensure high quality guests experience and satisfaction.
• You will be responsible for setting standards of practice for the Housekeeping team and the implementation of same.
