President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has commended Yobe State Governor Mai Mala Buni for various post insurgency recovery efforts in the state.
The Nigerian leader gave the commendation on Wednesday when he granted an audience to the governor at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
Tinubu assured the visiting governor that the federal government would be on the same page with the Yobe State Government to improve and make life more meaningful to the people of the state.
In a statement by Gov. Buni’s spokesman, Mamman Mohammed indicated that he briefed the president on some areas that are in need of federal intervention to improve the lives of the people.
“The government and people of Yobe State would appreciate the provision of more infrastructure to hasten the reconstruction, rehabilitation and recovery process of the state government,” he quoted Buni as saying.
