Our Client, a digital trust infrastructure company in Africa, is seeking to hire a highly skilled and experienced Senior Front End Developer to join their dynamic development team. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 8 years of professional experience in front-end development. As a Senior Front End Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the user interface of their web applications.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Develop and maintain front-end code for web applications, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.

• Collaborate with designers and back-end developers to implement visual and interactive elements that enhance user experience.

• Translate design concepts into clean, efficient, and maintainable code using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks.

• Optimize application performance and ensure compatibility across different platforms and browsers.

• Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and mentor junior team members.

• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in front-end development.

• Participate in project planning and estimation, providing technical expertise and recommendations.

• Troubleshoot and debug issues to ensure seamless functionality and user satisfaction.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements, timelines, and deliverables.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

• Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in front-end development.

• Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

• Experience with front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.

• Proficiency in responsive web design principles and techniques.

• Solid understanding of cross-browser compatibility and accessibility standards.

• Experience with version control systems, such as Git.

• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

• Ability to mentor and guide junior developers.
