He made this known through a statement by his media officer, Mr Joshua Elekwachi, shortly after receiving a mammoth crowd of youths at the Sam Mbakwe Cargo Airport in Imo State.

He expressed dismay over the rising insecurity in the state and attributed it to the failure of the governor to address the needs of the youth population.

Odunzeh said that the lack of essential amenities and the lack of employment opportunities for the youths contributed to the rise in crime and unrest.

He advocated for a comprehensive approach to tackle these issues and vowed to prioritize youth empowerment. He also urged the government to invest in education and skills development, saying it would provide the youths with proper opportunities to become more productive members of society.
