We are recruiting to fill the following positions below:

1.) HR Assistant (Golden Sugar Company)

Job Location: Apapa, Lagos

Employment Type: Full-time

The Job

  • Work closely with the HR Advisor to increase employee engagement in the designated business unit.
  • Maintain and update employee records, both electronic and physical files.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement in offering customer-focused HR services to the business unit.
  • Provide assistance with career management initiatives as needed.
  • Compile HR data and generate reports as required.
  • Coordinate the planning of training activities.

Qualifications

  • OND in any discipline.
  • 5 O’ level credits including Mathematics & English Language in not more than 2 sittings.
  • Student membership of Chartered Institute of Personnel Management is an added advantage.

The Person Must:

  • Be organized with good interpersonal skills, takes initiative and is a fast learner.
  • Have good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Be willing to develop a career in Human Resources.
  • Have intermediate level of Microsoft Office Package especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

2.) Regional Sales Capability Manager

Job Location: Apapa, Lagos

The Job

  • Developing and implementing training programs that focus on enhancing the sales skills of the sales team in allocated sales region.
  • Implementation of the established performance indicators for each job in the Sales team (including distributor sales staff) and ongoing review of the regional organization against these criteria.
  • Evaluate and test competencies of the regional Sales force to identify skill gaps.
  • Work collaboratively with the National Sales Capability Manager to drive the transfer of Sales best practices from and into the allocated Sales region.
  • Provide coaching and feedback to the sales team to help them improve their skills and achieve their targets.
  • Collaborate closely with other departments such as marketing, operations, and customer service to ensure that the sales team gets the resources and support it needs to succeed.
  • Conduct onboarding for all new sales hires in the region.

Qualification

  • B.Sc / HND in Business Administration, Sales, Trade Marketing, Social Science discipline or any related course.

Experience:

  • 7 years of cognate experience in sales role or a similar function gained in a major FMCG blue chip organisation.
  • Have a strong field sales.
  • Demonstrable passion and aptitude for training and people development.

The Person Must:

  • Have excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Be able to influence others to consider capability development as a critical area of focus need. Pay strong attention to detail.
  • Be able to deliver the Sales capability agenda through colleagues who are not direct line reports.
  • Have good problem-solving abilities.

3.) Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Officer

Job Location: Nigeria

Purpose of the Job

  • To further FMN PLC’s commitment to improving Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) performance by implementing health safety and environment objectives and compliance with local regulatory requirements, to prevent injury and maintain a safe working environment.

The Job

  • To design, implement and communicate HSE management system to meet OHSAS ISO 45001: 2018 requirement and ISO 14001:2015 requirements.
  • To prioritise and provide advice in a timely manner on OHSAS 18001 standards.
  • To develop, implement, execute and management strategies to prevent workplace injuries, environmental incidences and achieve annual target set by management for HSE performance.
  • To advice on HSE trends and indicators.
  • Develop programs and plans to achieve OHS objectives.
  • To supervise the plant’s Health, Safety and Environment program. Facilitate internal audits of the safety management systems.

Qualifications

  • Minimum: B.Sc. / HND in Engineering or Environmental Sciences, and Occupational Health and Safety qualification (HSE Level 3).
  • Added advantage: NEBOSH certificate or other HSE professional courses, membership of Institute of Safety Professional of Nigeria (ISPON) will be an advantage.

Experience:

  • 5 years of HSE work experience in FMCG, Oil/Gas.

The person must:

  • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Have excellent critical thinking and high level of numeracy abilities.
  • Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Have strong leadership and motivational skills with the drive and focus to deliver results through teams.

4.) Risk Manager

Job Location: Nigeria

The Job

  • Ensure that the company’s governance, risk management and business continuity management processes are operating effectively.
  • Champion the implementation of the enterpriser risk management framework across the company.
  • Identify and report on emerging risk trends.
  • Establish processes are in place to facilitate the identification, measurement, assessment, monitoring, and controlling of risks in the company.
  • Lead the performance of the annual enterprise risk assessment process.
  • Analyse skills and understanding of risk management, risk appetite and risk governance.
  • Provide management with practical, cost-effective recommendations for mitigating risks as discussed with business and process owners.
