The emir disclosed this through the Madakin Tikau, Alhaji Musa Lawan, in his Sallah message to the people.

He said this happened to the people of neighboring Fune Local Government Area, where they abandoned farming as a result of getting food assistance from the World Food Programme.

According to the royal father, “everything you see in this country has come through farming; therefore, our people should engage fully in the farming system.”

The mornach revealed that people should be careful as whatever aid they get will end soon if it is not from Allah, therefore, they should not abandon farming.
