Indian chef, Lata Tondon deletes her congratulatory message to Hilda Baci, updates bio after GWR certification

The former Guinness World Record holder for the longest cooking time by an individual, Lata Tondon, has deleted her well-wish message to the new Nigerian record holder, chef Hilda Baci.

Recall that during Hilda Baci’s publicized cook-a-thon in May, Tondon sent her wishes to the Nigerian chef via her Instagram page.

She posted a photo of Hilda with the caption, “All the best Hilda👍 Hope to see you on the Official Site of Guinness Book Of World Records Soon!!”

However, after Guinness announced Hilda as the new record holder for the longest cooking time by an individual on Tuesday, June 13, a check on Lata Tondon’s page showed that she had taken down the post.

It was noticed that she also removed the Guinness World Record title from her Instagram bio.

In other news, former Anambra state governor and presidential candidate of the Labour Party, LP, Peter Obi, has congratulated Nigerian chef, Hilda Effiong Bassey, aka Hilda Baci for breaking the Guinness World Record for longest cooking marathon by an individual.

Hilda received several congratulations as the Guinness Book of World Records on Tuesday recognized her as the new record holder for the longest cooking marathon by an individual.

Peter Obi joined other Nigerians in congratulating Hilda Baci on his official Twitter account and stated that Hilda has earned enormous honor for Nigeria as a nation and etched her name in the history books. Read here.
