Popular Nigerian singer, David Adeleke, better known as Davido, has narrated how he asked his ‘fan club’ to deal with a promoter who claimed not to know him.
The ‘Timeless’ hitmaker recounted this incident during a recent interview on REAL 92.3FM, and it has sparked widespread outrage on social media.
According to the singer, he had an altercation with a promoter whom he suspected had feelings for him. During the disagreement, she claimed not to even know who he was to seemingly provoke a reaction from him.
Davido, who felt offended by the promoter’s remark and wanted to pay her back in her own coin, decided to take action against her. He reached out to his fans and asked them to drag the promoter to filth for underestimating his worth.
Speaking with so much excitement in his voice, the 30-year-old singer recalled how his fans bombarded the promoter’s DM with vile messages until she was forced to apologize to him.
