Body of kidnapped Abuja woman found in forest

A woman identified as Maimuna Mohammed Sheke has been found dead after she was kidnapped from Yewuti village, in Kwali Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja.

Another user, Usman Garba Fodio, who confirmed the incident said her body was discovered in a forest in Toto Local Government Area of Nasarawa State on Tuesday, May 16, 2023.

Facebook user, Abdul Jibrin Zubairu Yewuti also confirmed the incident in a Facebook post.

“We love you but Allah love you more. May your gentle soul rest in perfect peace, may aljanat firdaus be your final destination, Ya maimuna Mohammed sheke,” he wrote. 

Recall that gunmen earlier kidnapped 29 villagers in Yewuti.
