Nigerian Afrobeat star, Burna Boy has claimed that Wizkid’s music style is extremely different from his own.
According to the self-described African Giant, who said as much in a live interview they are in two completely different musical paths.
The interviewer asked him if there was a competition between them seeing as they are taking turns to win awards.
Burna Boy said the ‘Joro’ crooner loves singing about only women, whereas his music centres on life as well as women.
He, however, emphasized that the only thing they have in common is their love for one another and their shared origin.
He said;
“We are on two very different lanes in life. The only similarity really is the fact that we are from the same place and we love each other.
That’s what brings us together, its where we are from and the love we have for each other. Wiz is about the b***ches. Me, I’m about real life and the b***ches.”
