Nigerian singer, Teniola Apata, popularly known as Teni, has taken to social media to call out her sugar daddy for being stingy.
For those who may not be familiar with the term, a sugar daddy is a wealthy older man who provides financial support to a younger, usually female partner in exchange for companionship and/or sexual favors.
Teni revealed in an Instagram video that her sugar daddy asked her to send seductive images of herself and gave her the meager sum of N1,500 for data.
She said she was appalled by the paltry sum, and recounted another instance when he sent her N50,000 as upkeep money despite the fact that she spends millions on her appearance.
According to the ‘Billionaire’ singer, her sugar daddy once asked her to bring her female friends to Abuja via train to meet some of his friends, much to her chagrin because she is not a pimp.
Following these unpleasant experiences, Teni stated that she is done with him and needs another sugar daddy with immediate alacrity.
However, it is not entirely clear whether Teni was being serious or joking in the video which she captioned, “I need a new sugar daddyyyyyy”.
