It is a season for 51 Senior Advocates of Nigeria lining up to defend their presidential clients at the Tribunal Court who are claiming they won the election.
Though one of them Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has been declared by Independent National Electoral Commission INEC the winner.
The three gladiators, the President Elect of the All Progressives Congress Tinubu and the Presidential flag bearer of the Peoples Democratic Party Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and Labour Party Peter Obi have lined up 51 SANs for the epic battle
Twelve for Tinubu, 20 for Obi and 19 for Atiku.
Atiku Abubakar, presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), today 8 March inaugurated the legal team to challenge the outcome of the February 25 presidential election.
The former vice-president briefed the team at his campaign headquarters in Abuja.
He mandated them to “establish the claim of illegality in the February 25 presidential election and reclaim the mandate of the Nigerian people”.
The team, which is headed by JK Gadzama, comprises 19 senior advocates of Nigeria (SANs).
