The Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Local Government and Community Affairs, Mrs Kikelomo Bolarinwa, has commended Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu for implementing his T.H.E.M.E.S agenda.
The acronym, T.H.E.M.E.S, represents the six pillars of the state’s strategic development agenda, namely, Traffic Management and Transportation, Health and Environment, Education and Technology, Making Lagos a 21st Century Economy, Entertainment and Tourism, as well as Security and Governance.
According to her, the agenda has improved innovation in the state’s transportation sector.
Bolarinwa gave the commendation on Wednesday when she, alongside the staff of the ministry, rode on the recently inaugurated Lagos Blue Rail Mass Transit.
The phase 1 of the blue rail, which was inaugurated by the President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), on January 24, can transport 25,000 passengers per hour.
