The 28-year-old ended his seven-year trophy-laden spell at Manchester City in the summer and joined the Blues in a £47.5million deal.
After a bright start to his career in west London, Sterling’s form has nosedived since the appointment of Graham Potter who is currently battling to save his job following a dismal run of form which culminated in Sunday’s defeat at Tottenham.
Sterling was restored to the starting line-up last weekend but the January signings of Noni Madueke, Mykhailo Mudryk and Joao Felix have thrown his long-term future into doubt.
Arsenal were credited with an interest in the versatile forward last summer and their current manager, Mikel Arteta, was credited with playing a key role in Sterling’s development from erratic winger into prolific goalscorer during their time together a City.
Sterling’s representative, Kelly Hogarth, however, insists her client is more than content at Chelsea and is hoping to help restore the club to its former glories.
He said: ‘Sterling has expressed NO discontent with Chelsea and having committed his long-term future to the new ownership this summer, there is to be no review of his position in the upcoming transfer window.
‘He very much looks forward to building upon the success of previous seasons.’
Potter, meanwhile, is understood to retain the backing of Todd Boehly who is reluctant to make a managerial change having put his faith in the former Brighton boss following the sacking of Thomas Tuchel earlier this season.
‘I take full responsibility for the results and it isn’t good enough for Chelsea,’ said Potter after the 2-0 defeat at Spurs.
‘We want to try & improve it and if results aren’t good enough, which they aren’t at the moment, you can’t rely on support forever that’s for sure.
‘My job is to keep going.’
Chelsea face Leeds next Saturday, before hosting Dortmund in their second leg of the Champions League last-16 tie. The Blues lost 1-0 in Germany in the first leg.
