Presidential election: Obi beats Tinubu, Atiku in David Mark’s Polling Unit

Peter Obi, the Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate, has won the polling units of former Senate President, David Mark, situated at the VIP Unit One with the GRA Otukpo, Benue State.

Obi polled 178 votes, while the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, scored 22 votes and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, got 18 votes.

The chant of “Obi! Obi!!” rented the air upon announcement of the result as many youths took to the street in celebration.

In a similar development, Obi has won the first Pulling Unit to be declared in the Aso Rock, Abuja vicinity.

At PU 131, which is one of the several units around the premises, the former Anambra governor polled 17 votes to beat Tinubu, who garnered six votes, and Atiku, who scored three votes.
