Few hours to the Presidential Election The Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike is still speaking in parables as to who is his preferred candidate.

In contrast to rumors swirling about, he, not letting out the cat said he would not sell the votes of Rivers state to any contender during the election.

On Thursday, February 23, Wike made his remarks while officially opening the Azikiwe/Iloabuchi Road and other recently built facilities in the state. The PDP leader stated that he was aware of Rivers state’s interests, and as a result, he could not intentionally deceive the populace about the political choice he had made regarding the presidential candidate to support in the February 25th presidential election.

He claimed that because of his debt to the state of Rivers, he would never sell it.

He said “I owed them (the Rivers people) a lot in my life for what Rivers State has given me, and I will continue to defend their interests. I’m not going to trade someone a pot of porridge for Rivers State. Hence, if I tell you that this is the appropriate area, believe me when I say that it is. I won’t try to trick you. I don’t belong to the group of leaders that always pursue their own interests.”
