Afe Babalola University Ado Ekiti & Elizade University, Ilara Mokin singled out for a special donation of Books from a Nigerian Scholar and Historian based in the United States.
A glorious presentation and free donation of 30 copies of the Voice of Reasoning was made to two of the best Private Universities in Nigeria. Elizade University at Ilara. Mokin and Afe Babalola University by the author himself who flew in from New York to make the donation and presentation
The presentation to Elizade University was made to honor the Founder AdeOjo and the one at Ado Ekiti was specifically made to honor Attorney and Economist Afe Babalola himself who at 92 was presiding over the Induction Ceremony of the 5th set of 60. Young medical doctors of the great Citadel of Leaning and the first of its type in Africa.
Making the presentation direct to Pa Afe Babalola, Dr. Wumi Akintide who delivered a goodwill message from the United States had spoken eloquently of the Founder and the proprietor of the University comparing him to Alfred Noble who had pioneered the great Nobel Peace Award in Oslo Norway to promote Peace and Excellence in the whole World.
He reiterated that Afe Babalola was doing the same thing to make Ado Ekiti Nigeria the center of Gravity for Medical Breakthrough in the whole world by citing the University at Ado Ekiti his home town.
To the newly-minted Doctors he congratulated all of them as he reminded them of the Victor Ludorum, one of the inducted doctors who spoke at the glorious Induction held at the Huge fully Air-conditioned Alfa Bengore Auditorium at the main Campus of the Majestic Citadel of Learning.
Dr. Wumi Akintide who spoke glowingly about his father and mentor Afe Babalola, has reminded the new doctors that their profession thrives on team effort and they should all strive to be good ambassadors of their profession and the University by reminding them if they want to go fast they should travel alone but if they want to travel far, they must travel together, work as a team as eloquently reminded them by their Victor Ludorum an Ibo young doctor who spoke from the heart and she got a standing ovation pretty much like all of the speakers including Dr. Akintide who caught up with Afe Babalola as the Founder of the University on a day that would be remembered for a long time in the History of the prestigious University which is arguably one of the best in the World by acclamation and consensus.
35 copies of the book were delivered to the Stupendous Research Library of Afe Babalola University in honor of the Founder.
25 copies of the Book were delivered earlier on to the Registrar of Elizade University dressed in white while receiving the Books from Dr. Akintide and his niece Princess Bola Balogun who accompanied Dr. Akintide to the two major private universities in Ondo and Ekiti State
Similar donations of the Books were made early in the week to the Registrar of the Federal University of Technology Akure and the National Library at Oda Road and at Oyemekun Grammar School. Aquinas College Akure and St Louis and Fiwasaiye Girls Grammar School and many more institutions including Victory Nursery and Primary School, Ijoka Road, Omoleye Nursery and Primary School thru Pa Chief Reuben Fashoranti and his daughter Olufunlayo Fashoranti and the great Institute of Agriculture attended by the late wife of Dr. Wumi Akintide in person of late Mrs. Adunola Akintide a former graduate of that Institute.
More presentation of those books to be shown in the weeks and months ahead to Ondo State and Ekiti Universities and to the Obafemi Awolowo University the Alma Mater of Dr. Akintide including the premier University of Nigeria in the great University of Ibadan.
