Nadia Nakai, the girlfriend of late South-African rapper, Kiernan Forbes, better known as AKA, has taken to Social media to mourn him.

In an emotional post on her Instagram page, a day after AKA was buried in Johannesburg, Nadia lamented bitterly, stating that her life will not be the same again.

She reminisced over the love they shared and how they had planned to spend their lives together, but his life was cut short.

Nadia, who posted photos and videos showing some of their beautiful moments together, asked God to take away the consuming anguish she feels right now and heal her broken heart.

“My Heart is shattered, this is not what our future was meant to look like. I can’t believe I said my final goodbye to you yesterday. I’ll never see you again for the rest of my lifetime? You loved me loud and proud, thank you baby. Protected me, Prayed for me, inspired me.

“I find it hard to breathe let alone find the words to explain how much I love you. I’m really going to miss all the special moments we’ve had. This really hurts! I can’t come to terms with the fact that I’ll never hear you say you love me, I’ll never hear your laugh. We had plans. There is no pain bigger than the pain of losing you. I thought I was going to spend the rest of my life with you, I realise you’re the one who spent the rest of your life with me.

O God, come to my assistance; O Lord hurry to help me. Please take the consuming anguish I feel right now; Take it from me and hold me in your arms. Heal my broken heart and bind my wounds. Amen Psalm 147:3″, She wrote.

AKA was shot dead by a yet-to-be identified gunman outside a restaurant in Durban, South Africa, at age 35. His former manager, Tebello, also known as ‘Tibz’ Motsoane, was also shot and killed on the same day. They were both laid to rest on Saturday, February 18.
