The Senior Special Assistant to Governor Dapo Abiodun on New Media, Emmanuel Ojo, has accused the Peoples Democratic Party’s House of Representatives candidate in Remo, Bola Oluwole, of sponsoring the Monday riot in Sagamu.
Ojo, in a post on his social media handle, said Damilare Bello, who is the House of Assembly candidate in Sagamu 1 Constituency is also a culprit in the violent protest.
He said: “Prince Mohammed Damilare Bello, PDP House of Assembly Candidate, Sagamu Constituency 1 and Mr Bolarinwa Adekunbi Oluwole, PDP House of Representatives Candidate in Remo Federal Constituency are the two main culprits that caused mayhem in Sagamu this morning, destroying APC banners, destroying valuables at the Local Government Secretariat and attempting to burn down a commercial bank.
“To keep their unpatriotic act hidden, they also destroyed the phones of those recording them while perpetrating this dastardly act.
“The security agencies are looking for them as we speak. You cannot disturb the peace we’re enjoying in Ogun State for any political gain(s).”
