Veteran Nollywood actress, Maureen Okpoko, has appealed to well-meaning individuals for financial assistance over vision impairment issues.
In a video message to the public, the actress disclosed that she recently went blind and can’t see anymore.
She says it’s been difficult navigating life without her sight, and needs Nigerians to help her financially so she can seek medical treatment.
The actress also provided her personal phone number in case anyone wants to contact her directly.
Her words;
“I suddenly lost my sight, which means I can no longer see or I can’t see for now.
I’m seeking for your financial assistance, it would be greatly appreciated if y’all can come to my aid.
I also need your prayers and words of encouragement, it has not been an easy journey for me, but I’m grateful for the gift of life. Thank y’all”

A while back, Nigerian singer, Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable has showered his first wife, Omobewaji, with gifts on Valentine’s day.
To commemorate the annual celebration of love, the singer surprised Bewaji with a brand-new iPhone, and wigs amongst others.
Posting a video of her unboxing her gifts, he wrote;
“Odogwu doings. Appreciate your love once’s (loved ones) while you still can. Valentine package for mama ZEH.”
